The sharp contrast between black and white and between the scale of the silhouettes and the monuments was powerfully composed. It is an unforgettable image when thinking about DC.”

“At first glance this is a well composed image of a somewhat predictable “post card” scene. Then you notice the two silhouetted figures perfectly placed and posed at the bottom adding a note of exuberant happiness that distinguishes the whole thing. As a photographer, I am curious to know how it was made. Was it lucky happenstance or posed?”
